Ingredients
- 2 slices of your favorite bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of black pepper
Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, dried parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well to create the garlic butter.
- Spread the garlic butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Top with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
- Place the other slice of bread on top, butter-side up. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
- Remove from skillet, slice in half, and serve immediately. Enjoy your Garlic Bread Grilled Cheese!
Notes
For extra flavor, sprinkle a little garlic powder on the butter before spreading. You can use any cheese you like – provolone, pepper jack, or even a blend would be delicious. Serve with a side of tomato soup for dipping!
