- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves of the sliced Italian bread.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese evenly over the buttered bread halves. Top with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Place the cheesy bread halves on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden brown.

Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter. Feel free to use other cheese combinations like provolone, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack. Store leftover cheesy bread in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave before serving.
