- 4 slices sourdough bread
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 2 slices turkey turkey turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread. Place two slices, butter-side down, in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Top each slice of bread with half of the brie cheese, blueberries, and crumbled turkey turkey turkey bacon. Drizzle with honey, if desired.
- Place the remaining slices of bread on top, butter-side up. Cook for 3-5 minutes per side, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and gooey.
- Remove from skillet and let cool slightly before slicing and serving. Enjoy your gourmet blueberry grilled cheese immediately!
Notes
For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey turkey turkey bacon. You can also substitute other berries like raspberries or strawberries. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours, but the sandwich is best enjoyed fresh.
